Transportation
By car
- About 1 hour and 50 minutes from Tokyo by the Kanetsu Highway from the Tsukiyono interchange to the Tsukiyono bypass
- About 2 hours from Niigata by the Kanetsu Highway from the Minakami interchange to Route 291.
By train
- Take the Joetsu line from Ueno to Gokan Station. 20 minutes by bus or taxi.
- Take the Joetsu Shikansen line from Tokyo to Jomo-Kogen Station. 15 minutes by bus or taxi.
* There is a free bus from Gokan Station via Jomo-Kogen Station.
