Opened August 1971 in Izu's Shuzenji temple as the world's first large-scale cycling sports facility. The Japan Cycle Sports Center is an ecological sports and leisure facility combined with the Japan Bicycle Racing School. Its main feature is a 5 km professional cycling course with difficult uphill and downhill sections, but the facility also allows for enjoying leisurely cycling activities as well.

3. To prevent accidents, the consumption of alcoholic beverages while using the facilities is prohibited.

In addition to a 2 km circuit that you can enjoy riding with the family and a 1.5 km off-road course for full-fledged mountain bike riding, the Center can introduce you to surprising aspects of the bicycle including unusual designs you many have never seen before.

Enjoy pedal-powered boats, an indoor hot spring pool, an outdoor flowing water pool, and other water-based amusements year round. We also have natural hotsprings and outdoor hotspring baths.

Our pure and natural outdoor hotspring baths can accommodate 200 guests and are open until 8:00 PM.

4. Day Camp
In April 1998, we plan on opening camp grounds where groups and school outings can gather and have good times, even cooking their own meals in the great outdoors.

By car

1. 60 minutes from the Tomei Expressway Numadzu interchange/8 km towards Usami from Route 136 Ohito.

2. 60 minutes from Odawara/3 km towards Ohito from the Hakone-Izu Skyline Kameishi Pass and then fifty minutes from Atami/11 km towards Ohito from Route 135 Usami.

By bus

1. 15 minutes by the Tomei bus line from Shuzenji Station (service daily).

2. 40 minutes by the Tokai bus line from Ito station (operates on Sundays, national holidays, New Years, and spring and summer vacations).
