Since the cross-country event is a competition lasting two hours or more, a feed area is set up where teammates are allowed to hand off to each other food and water as well as equipment such as eye goggles. To protect the environment, spiked tires that damage the course are prohibited. The champion can wear this jersey in the same event at the next All Japan Championships the following year.
Bicycle Markings Categories
Exchanging bicycles and other parts during the competition is prohibited by the rules. Seals are affixed to the frame and front and rear wheels and then checked after the race to make sure nothing was replaced.
